  • Tween/Teen & Composition Series – on hiatus until 2021

After learning to take risks, play with movement ideas and develop basic dance competencies through improvisation, dancers ages 8-17 enter the composition series. Three levels of composition allow dancers to explore choreographic principles with increasing breadth and depth. Dance technique is developed to provide the necessary skills for students to execute their works safely and with an increasing awareness of the audience.

Teen Choreography Workshops for 11-17 year olds – on hiatus until 2021

Due to COVID-19 Shelter in Place requirements, we at Luna are figuring out what camps might look like this summer. Please stay tuned for more information that we hope to provide soon.

Dancers aged 11-17 come together to learn the art of choreography during full-day camps. Camp themes provide a source of inspiration for their solo, duet, and group pieces. Dancers are supported in developing their aesthetic qualities and expressive storytelling voices as they make dances meaningful to them.  No prerequisite. Camp is open to new & experienced learners of dance.
