One of the best ways to support Luna Dance Institute is to learn more about us by participating in one of our dance events. Join us for a free community event such as Dance & Disability panel, Dance Education Forum, or family dance Open House. Or, support us by attending one of our fundraising activities. Past fundraisers range from major galas at outside venues, DJ’d dance parties at our space, Kids Night Out, Oliver Ranch tour, and more. All events rely heavily on volunteer efforts.
Offered annually in October, this free event is an opportunity to listen to local experts on disability, access, and inclusion share their efforts, research, and progress with the community.
Typically held in April, the day before the start of Bay Area Dance Week, this daylong, free public event showcases the choreographic process of 20 diverse dance artists.
This free public dialogue is offered every other year with topics ranging from Race & Equity, What is Community?, Promises & Pitfalls of Dance Education and more. Next offered in 2020.
