Training the Trainers

Your Turn: Next Level Pedagogy for Dance Teacher Education Facilitators

A cohort of experienced dance educators will learn to articulate and construct pedagogy that aligns with their genre, teaching style, and personal values, and also helps to prepare future dance teachers for standards-based instruction in California.

WHAT: A series of workshops, individualized coaching, observed community teaching. No cost to selected applicants.

WHEN: Applications available 10/20/18. Workshops April-June, 2019.

WHO: Experienced K-12 Los Angeles County dance educators who want to launch, improve, or expand their skills in providing professional development and training to other dance educators.

HOW: Applications available 10/20/18. Submission NEW deadline is 12/10/18.  Cohort of 8-10 selected and notified by 2/1/19.
