Building Cultures of Dance

bocd_cmyk

Luna works with dance teaching professionals, education, social service and arts organizations throughout the region, state and nation to build cultures of dance that support the values of each community. In partnership with the experts that live and work in these settings, Luna helps reveal how dance can help meet goals in authentic ways. Initiated by individual teaching artists, supervisors or directors, this work is comprised of a palette of resources such as needs assessment, program planning, professional development, curriculum creation with embedded assessment, program evaluation and leadership support.

If your organization, agency, school or district is interested in creating or improving dance programs that

  • Support K-12 learning through dance as Core Arts Curriculum
  • Strengthen family bonds through relationship-based dance curriculum and embodied parent education
  • Infuse curricula with the rigor of creativity
  • Increase the confidence of early childhood educators to expand movement and dance opportunities in ECE centers

Luna can help!

Partner organizations create customized service delivery plans that may include any or all:

  • Needs assessment
  • Professional development for staff
  • In-depth professional development and coaching for lead staff
  • Model classes with side-by-side professional development
  • Program planning
  • Curriculum design with embedded assessment
  • Program evaluation
