APPLICATION AVAILABILITY AND DEADLINES
Summer Institute (SI) 2011 (held at Mills College July 11-16)
Summer Institute (SI) 2012 held at Mills College July 16-21, 2012. Applications available February 15, 2012. Deadline for application is April 16th for dance teaching artists and April 23rd for other educators. Participants selected and notified by June 4, 2012. Changes in Advanced Summer Institute (ASI) format. Beginning 2011 the ASI will convene for two full days in the summer, followed by four full days sprinkled throughout the academic year. For ASI 2011 meeting dates are August 9 & 10. ASI 2012 tbd. All SI alumnae invited to apply. Participants may repeat ASI as needed. To be considered, please contact arasera@lunadanceinstitute.org for telephone interview between March and May.
All SI and ASI selected participants are expected to participate in certain follow-up activities, including but not limited to:
- Midyear Summer Institute Meeting: Last Saturday in January–mandatory. 1/28/12 for SI 2011; 1/26/13 for SI 2012
- Gallery Walk to share work of the academic year, 3rd Saturday in May.
